Session Details
Sessions:
Sessions are scheduled by appointment only. In-studio, outdoor and on-location sessions are available.
Several images will be created and the best images will be presented in your secure online gallery.
What to wear:
Simple clothing is recommended for all types of portraits. Solid color shirts with jeans or
khaki pants photograph wonderfully. Large or busy patterns, stripes, and logos will distract from
the quality of your portrait and are therefore highly discouraged.
The same applies to babies and children. The simplest outfit is going to photograph the
best.
When photographing groups we encourage families to go casual, as this is usually the most
comfortable and will create a easy atmosphere. Everyone should try to wear colors that complement one another,
in the same tone and clothing style. It is not necessary to match exactly.
Proofing: All orders placed within the
first five days of going online will receive a special "on-time" discount. Please check the pricing page for the
amount of the discount. Your gallery will be available for two weeks and all orders must be received before the
gallery expires. A $50 upload fee will be charged if you need your gallery reopened after it has expired.
Image storage: Ordered images are kept
on file for one year. Unordered images are purged sixty days from the session date.
Studio Policies: Before a session can
begin, a model release/portrait agreement must be completed by the parent/guardian.
This allows Third Floor Studio to use images from your session for advertising, portfolio display, peer review, etc..
It also includes a copyright statement that must be signed.
The negatives and/or digital files from your portrait session remain the property of Third Floor Studio.
All images created by our studio are copyrighted and may not be copied or reproduced in any form without
written permission from Leah Martin or Third Floor Studio.
Sales and Payment: All sales are final.
At the proofing stage, if you are not satisfied with the proofs provided, we can schedule a reshoot. If for any reason
you are not satisfied with any delivered prints, we will offer a reprint or exchange of the prints in question.
Because prints are custom by nature, full payment is due at the time of order. We gladly accept cash,
check, or credit cards for payment.
Delivery of Portraits: Your portraits
are normally ready for you within two weeks of your order/payment date. We will contact you when your order is ready
to be picked up.
